Carl “Doug” Milks

Carl “Doug” Milks, Sr, 74, of Candor, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012.  Mr. Milks was predeceased by his wife, Sandra Jean Milks; four children, Joe, Carl, Frank, Jim.  Carl is survived by his four children, Donald Milks, Helen Quick, Ken Milks, JoAnn Milks; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Alvarez, Donna Jones; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.

Message:  Our deepest sympathy to the family of Doug. "Pops" was truly a great person and will be missed. We always enjoyed our conversations with Doug at the Wegatchie Hotel. We can at least be comforted knowing he is back together with his true love... we know how much he missed her.
