Robert C. Haskell
Robert C. Haskell, 80, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012. Mr. Haskell was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Sandy Haskell; brother, Norman Haskell; two sisters, Joyce Dukerich, Judy Scobel. Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sarah “Betty” Haskell; six children and their spouses, Cindy Williams, Robert and Jennifer Haskell, Sherry and Tom Fahl, Thomas and Lisa Haskell, Gary and Cathy Haskell, Cathy Evans and Dutch Thompson; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Gail Haskell, Charles and Wendy Haskell; sister, Susie Anderson; several nieces and nephews. Robert graduated from Owego Free Academy Class of 1950, he was a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Navy, retired from IBM after 32 years of service, a member of the VFW Post #1371 and Croton Hose Company #3. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with the Rev. Lenny Jackson, officiating. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday Evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Robert C.
