Karen R. Furman, 74, of Owego passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Karen was predeceased by her parents, Camdton and Virginia Wolff Anderson. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert Furman; children, Scott (Cheryl) Furman of Richmond, VA, Gregory Furman of Higganum, CT, and Todd Furman of Spencerport, NY; and three grandchildren, Sarah, Camdton, and Austin. Karen was an active member of First Presbyterian Union Church where she was a past Deacon. Karen and Bob enjoyed collecting hummels and goebels throughout the years. Karen enjoyed knitting and camping trips with the family. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at First Presbyterian Union Church, 111 Temple St., Owego, NY with Rev. Parrish Bridges officiating. Family invites friends to call on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 5 to 7 PM at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.
