Thomas E. Dewey, 73, of Candor, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, January 23, 2016. Tom was predeceased by his father, Richard Dewey; sister, Sandra Dewey. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jean Dewey; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Arnie Holmes, Denise and Lindsay Wickham; six grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Zachary and Kyle Holmes, Nathaniel and Jonathan Wickham; mother, Barbara Elliott; brother and sister-in-law, Pete and Phyllis Dewey; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom retired in 2009 from Therm Inc.. He loved spending time with family and friends and was an avid NASCAR and football fan. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY with the Rev. Richard VanDerpoel, officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Thomas E. Dewey’s memory to the Candor Emergency Squad, P.O.
