Obituary of Robert T. Macey

Robert T. Macey, 76, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, March 7, 2014 in Sebring, Fl. He is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Nanette Macey; two daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca and Doyle Lowrance, Rachel Macey; brother and sister-in-law, Francis and Julianne Macey; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob graduated from Kings College in Scranton, PA. He came to Owego to teach biology and retired as assistant superintendent with the Owego/Apalachin School District. Bob was a devoted husband and father who will be dearly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 300 Main St., Owego with the Rev. William Moorby, officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.
