Samuel R. Pulford, 88, of Nichols, NY passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016. Mr. Pulford was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Grace (Baldwin) Pulford; brother, James Pulford. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jeanne Pulford; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Jim Buckpitt, Rochester, Carolyn Pulford and Joaquin Teran, Owego; four grandchildren and their spouses, Lauren and Sean Magin, Dan Buckpitt and Sarah Muhlbauer, David Teran Pulford, Julia Teran Pulford; three great-grandchildren, Sampson, Julianna, Ashlynn; several nieces and nephews. Sam was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Army. He received his Masters Degree in Engineering from Columbia University and worked as an Engineering Manager in Electronics Support Measurements for IBM – Owego. Sam and Jeanne owned and operated The Goat Boy in Owego and they were active members of the First Baptist Church of Owego. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Private funeral services will be held. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Samuel Pulford’s memory to Nichols Emergency, P.O.
