Obituary of Leonard A. Sparling

Leonard A. Sparling, 80, of Candor, NY passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Mr. Sparling was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Sparling. He is survived by three children and their spouses, Steven and Debbie Sparling, Candor, NY, Linda and Gary Homer, Homer, NY, Matthew Sparling and Amber Carmon, Groton, NY; four grandchildren, Ashley, Katrina, Colleen, Adam; five great-grandchildren, Madison, Jackson, Amelia, Evelyn, Sawyer; brother and sister-in-law, William and Sandra Sparling, Albany, GA; sister, Ellen Jenks, Painted Post, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Caroline Center Church, 760 Buffalo Road, Caroline Center, NY. Burial will be in the Caroline Centre Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 a.m to 12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the Church. Memorial Contributions may be made in Leonard A.
