Edward E. Relyea, 86, of Candor, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Mr. Relyea was predeceased by his wife, Pat Relyea; infant son, Matthew Relyea; daughter, Sharon VanEtten. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Boyd Andrews; son, Jerry Relyea; son-in-law, Marty VanEtten; five grandchildren, Bradley (Jess), Bryan (Kerin), Samantha (Martin), Kellie, Kevin; greatgrandson, Lukas; two brothers, Lloyd and Elaine Relyea, Lew and Laura Relyea; several nieces and nephews; longtime lady friend, Yvonne Harris. Ed was a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a precision grinder for Emerson Electric. He loved the outdoors and hunting. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Edward E.
