Obituary of Alene Marie McClafferty

Alene M. McClafferty, 79, of Nichols, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. Alene was predeceased by her first husband, Charles McClafferty; siblings, Martin Beck, Francis Beck, Anna Knox, Henry Beck, Betty Novaleski. She is survived by her husband, Floyd Collins; four children and their spouses, Suzanne and Kevin O’Brien, Sandra and Ken Banker, Theodore and Gemma McClafferty, Sherri and Thomas Arnold; ten grandchildren, Heather, Brieanna, Ryan, Anthony, Leland, Lindsey, Samuel, Sarah, Joan, Joseph; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Herbert Beck; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Lounsberry, NY. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 to 12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Alene M.
