Obituary of Pauline Quick

Pauline Quick, 82, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 after a brief illness. Pauline is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dean R. Quick; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Randall Reiss; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Georgia Quick; three grandchildren, Terrance, Morgan and Gregory; several nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved friends the Keibel, Arseneau and Materski families. Pauline enjoyed helping the youth of her community as a guidance counselor and retired from the Whitney Point Central School in 1986. She was an active member of Soroptimist International, Order of the Eastern Star and the Grange. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Center Lisle Congregational Church, 9670 NY Route 79, Lisle, NY. Burial will be in the Chenango Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Center Lisle Congregational Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pauline Quick’s memory to Whitney Point Rotary Student Award Fund, P.O. Box 744, Whitney Point, NY 13862.
