Roger H. Carlyle, 60, of Candor passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at home surrounded by his family after fighting a year and half battle with Cancer. Roger was predeceased by his parents, James and Mildred Carlyle; brother, Bobby Carlyle; sister, Dawn Carlyle. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Carlyle; two daughters, Amy (Gary) Deming, April (Wayne Drake) Carlyle; son, Randy Bauer; 10 grandchildren, Wayne, Jr., Colin, Kalia, Natalie, Chris, Mark, Mason, Cheyenne, Lillie, Riley; sister, Diane (Gary) Carr; several nieces, nephews, cousins; dear friends, Jimmy and Ginny Wright. Roger worked for Emerson Corporation for 36 years. He loved the outdoors and reminiscencing about the back hills of Candor, NASCAR Racing, spending time causing chaos with his best friend, Jimmy. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 Noon to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
