Obituary of Larry F. Patterson

Larry F. Patterson, 69, of Owego unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017. Larry was predeceased by his parents, George “Pat” and Violet Patterson; granddaughter, Summer Johnson. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jeff Johnson; three grandchildren, Kara, Trevor, Luke; great-granddaughter, Raelynn. four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry (Carol) Patterson, Roger and Donna Patterson, Kenneth and Melody Patterson, Michael (Heather) Patterson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Larry was drafted in the U.S. Amy in the mid-sixties and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a life member of Glen A. Warner VFW Post #1371, having serviced as past Adjutant, the American Legion Tioga Post #401, having served as a past commander, and the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #480. Larry retired from Binghamton University after many years of service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.
