Jane L. Carr, 85, of Willseyville passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Cayuga Medical Center. Jane was predeceased by her parents, Nelson and Kathleen Overbaugh; and her brother, Carl Overbaugh. Jane is survived by her husband of 63 11/12 years, Albert; daughter, Brenda and Edward Mullenix of Willseyville; son, Gary and Diane Carr of Willseyville; grandsons, Greg and Melanie Carr of Cortland, and Kyle Carr of Cortland; great-granddaughter, Natalyn Carr; sister-in-laws, Melba Carr of Morehead City, NC, and Betty Hill of Miami, FL; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jane graduated from Candor High School in 1947. She was soft spoken and enjoyed being around her family and friends. She enjoyed flowers, music, being outside and animals. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor with Lars Edburg officiating. Family invites friends to call from 12:00 to 12:45 prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made in Jane’s name to your local SPCA.
