Obituary of William H. Farnham

William “Bill” Farnham, 83, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014. Mr. Farnham was predeceased by his parents, Claude and Pauline Farnham; first wife, Genevieve “Penner” Farnham; brother, Robert Farnham; his cat, Calli. Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Frank Kucinsky; two sons, Bob Farnham, Michael Farnham; two stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Keith Hills, Koleen and Mark Jastremsky; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and his cat, Puffy. Bill served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. as a Sergeant during the Korean War. He served in Alaska, England and North Africa. He worked 35 years for ANSCO and also as a house painter. He loved camping, hunting and traveling, especially his journey’s out west and to Quebec, caribou hunting with his hunting buddies. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with the Rev. Parrish Bridges, officiating. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
