Obituary of George F. Marshall

George Marshall, 91, of Apalachin passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.  Mr. Marshall was predeceased by his parents, William and Dorothy Marshall; brother and sister-in-law, William and Jane Marshall.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret Marshall; two sisters-in-laws, Marian Morgan, Evelyn and her husband, Bill Faber; brother-in-law, Frank Catlin; several nieces and nephews.  George was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII and the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.  He worked at Endicott Johnson Corp. and later retired with 28 years of service from IBM Corp.   George was a member of IBM Quarter Century Club and the VFW Post #1371.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.  Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.  Condolences may be made to Mrs. Marshall at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
