Obituary of Blanche Helene Shofkom

Blanche H. (Rockwell) Shofkom, 99, of Apalachin, New York passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021. Blanche was predeceased by her two husbands, Russell Rockwell, Ralph Shofkom. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Mary (Rockwell) and Richard Mundt, William and Donna Shofkom, Irene and Raymond Williams, Roger and Sheila Shofkom; grandchildren, Kevin Mundt, Tracey, Amy and Brian Williams, Matthew Shofkom, Alissa Burkey, Rachel and Mary Jane Shofkom; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Blanche was a member of the Owego United Methodist Church. She was secretary to Judge George Boldman for many years before becoming Surrogate Court Clerk. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Riverview Manor Nursing Home, especially, Whitney, Sue and Jolene for their care of Blanche. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 27th at 1:30 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Blanche Shofkom's memory to the United Methodist Church of Owego, 261 Main St., Owego, NY 13827.
