Mary Rader, 80, of Owego passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Helen Nichols; husband of 44 years, G. Edward Rader. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Michele Gilchriest, Michael Rader and Sharilyn Johnson, Kathleen and Michael Strakhov; nine grandchildren, Jacob, Ian, Nathan, Molly, Abbey, Angela, Gianna, Nick and his wife, Alli, Sara; one great-grandchild on it's way; sister, Louise Woodburn; brother, Gary Nichols, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marie and Donald Wunder; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY with services live streamed at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com (click on obit). Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Owego, NY. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Please note: All state required social distancing guidelines are to followed.
