Gary D. Caslin, 75, of Spencer, NY passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Gary was predeceased by his parents, Claude and Marian Caslin; his life partner, Ruth Pierce; brother, Doug Caslin; sister-in-law, Noveta Henry. He is survived by his children, Teresa Barnes and James Brooks, Julie and Shawn Harnish, Robin and John Baker; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Brown, Jud and Joann Caslin, Dianna and Keith Burt, Steve Caslin; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Gary was a self- employed carpenter who enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching wildlife and gambling. The family will receive friends Friday, July 23, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. with services to immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St. Candor, NY. Funeral services will be live streamed at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com (click Gary's obit). Burial will be in the Tioga Cemetery, Owego, NY.
