Obituary of Janemarie Burke

Janemarie Burke, 55, of Owego, NY passed away on July 17, 2021. She was born on December 17, 1965 to James Farrell and Kathleen McInerney. Besides her parents, Janemarie was predeceased by her grandmother, Marie McInerney and her uncle, Paulie Deubler. She is survived by her children, Jason VanEtten, Brian VanEtten (Jessica) , Amanda Beach and Ian Burke (Mini Vazenios); grandchildren, Brenden VanEtten, Zachary VanEtten, Jordan Sanders, Devin Beach, Jacob VanEtten, Tayah Beach, and Katelynn VanEtten; companion, Robert Tompkins, Sr.; God-father, Thomas McInerney; God-mother, Kathleen Burrell; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Janemarie was willing to do anything for everyone, always ready to lend a helping hand. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, having movie nights, going to yard sales and to their sports games. She was much loved by many people and will be greatly missed. Janemarie's family will receive friends at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main Street, Candor, NY on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm. Services will follow at 4:00 pm.
