Joy Smith, 88, of Spencer, NY and Willseyville, NY passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021. She was born on August 24, 1932 to William and Velma Margerum. Besides her parents, Joy was predeceased by her brother, Richard Margerum, and her beloved dog, Mandy. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Ann Service, Karen Atkins, and George “Bud” (Katy) Smith; sister, Gloria Williams; grandchildren, Kim (Mike) Swartz, Tara (Jon Mark) Sandquist, Jason (Stephenie) Atkins, Joe (Shannon) Atkins, and Nathan Service; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Phoebe, Orin, Sophie, Marshall, Isabelle Joy, Imani, Noah, Presley, Kendra, Ashlyn, Oliver and Jacob; niece, Sherry (Martin) Custodio; and nephews, Doug (Pat) Margerum, Greg Margerum, Gary Margerum, and Jeffrey Smith.
