Rev. Leon L. "Lee" Love, 83, formerly of Waverly, NY went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 31, 2022. Lee was born in Elmira, NY to the late Clarence and Cecilia Love. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Dennis Crisman; son, Christopher Love; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Cassandra "Cat" Crisman; two sisters and brother-in-law, Bernadette and Paul Kingsley, Mary Guerrera; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was ordained into the priesthood on March 17, 1973 and proudly served parishes throughout the United States. He loved to travel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, 375 W. Church St., Elmira, NY. Please Note: All state required social distancing guidelines are to be followed. The family will receive friends Friday, February 11, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rev. Leon Love's memory to the Alzheimer's Assoc, P.O. Box 12226, Syracuse, NY 13218.
