William P. Gunderman Bill Gunderman passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2022 while playing his last round of golf in upstate New York. Janice, his beloved wife of 50 years was by his side. Bill was pre-deceased by his parents Virgil and Mary (Moravec) Gunderman; siblings, Thomas Gunderman, Mary Miller, Sandra Borruso, Sally Wall, and Richard Gunderman. He is survived by his wife, Janice Gunderman; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Angel Gunderman; granddaughter Hailey Rose Gunderman; sister Virginia Owens; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends. He loved his family and was especially proud of his granddaughter Hailey. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. After his retirement as a Sergeant with Tullytown Borough Police Department, he moved to Pawleys Island, SC. He then had his dream job for fifteen years as a USGTF Golf Instructor at Wachesaw East Plantation in Murrells Inlet. He loved helping people improve their game. Bill started golfing in the early 70's at Bensalem Country Club where he perfected his game and over the years, he has had seven hole-in-ones. Bill has made many life long friends along the way and always cherished their friendship. Bill loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. Every year he looked forward to hunting season in Little Meadows, PA where he hunted with his brother Tom and good friends Bobby and Mike. During archery season in 2020….he finally got the big one! The family would like to thank all of his friends and golf course family for their love and support. Coach BillyG will be greatly missed by all who knew him! A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at a later date.
