Barbara G. Essler, 93, of Owego, New York, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025. Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, David Essler; brother, Kenneth "Bud" Gridley; two sisters, Marjorie Thomas, Helen Tobey. Barbara is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Steven May; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Karen Essler; five grandchildren and their spouses, Dane Essler and Scott Luce, Damon and Sara Essler, Tiffany and Wayne Moulton, Capri and Mike Costantino, Brooke and Brett Vesico; six grandchildren, Camden, Hadley, Julianna, Oban, Bohannon, Broen; adopted grandson, Garrett Shultz; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. In honoring Barbara's wishes, services at this time will be held privately at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery, Caton, NY.
