Matthew C. "Matt" Crowe, 61, of Candor, NY, unexpectedly passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 due to natural causes. Matt was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Crowe. He is survived by his father, Merwin "Butch" Crowe; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth "Liz" and John Hughes; two nieces, Jillian Hughes, Leah Hughes; nephew, Jameson Hughes; longtime friend, Jody Kasmarcik; extended family members. Matt worked for Croft Lumber and was an avid hunter, car enthusiast and collector and enjoyed snowmobiling. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main Street, Candor, NY with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Matthew C.
