Obituary of Vincent Russell Brace

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vincent Russell Brace, a beloved father, devoted husband, and cherished friend, Vince left us peacefully on March 14, 2025, surrounded by his family at Wilson Memorial Hospital. Vince was known as a kind man with an unwavering love for his family, a passion for sports and music, and finding peace while spending time outdoors. As a father, he was a constant source of support, encouragement, and inspiration to his children and grandchildren. Whether it was cheering on his favorite team or playing a friendly game of catch with his kids, he approached sports with the same enthusiasm. His family fondly recalls countless weekends spent on the field, the court, or the sidelines, sharing in the victories and defeats that come with every game. In retirement he spent his time with his wife, Kathy, and their dog Sadie by their side. He will forever be missed by all but his spirit and life lessons will carry on through those that knew and loved him. Vince was predeceased by his parents, Dana and Patricia Brace; his father in-law, Robert Seniska. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kathleen Brace; his children, Dustin (Deanna) Brace, Nathan (Jillian) Brace, Stacy (Nick) Baranski; brother, Victor (Janine) Brace; sister, Cathy (Albert) Dube; seven grandchildren, Dylan, Jemma, Devon, Whitney, Madalynn, Noah, Olivia, along with many friends and family. In honoring Vince's wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are entrusted to Estey, Munroe, & Fahey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers or gifts donations may be made in his name to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
