Roger J. Tackley, 81, of Apalachin, NY, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025, at home surrounded by family. Roger was predeceased by his parents, LeRoy and Bernice Tackley; brother, Donald Tackley; sister, Anne Reilly. Roger is survived by is wife of 30 years, Peggy Tackley; his children, Lorrie and Daniel Tyler, Dan and Jody Tackley, Ben and Amanda Tackley, Robert and Catherine Dorans, James Dorans, Heather Dorans-Duda, Drew and Jessica Dorans; 14 grandchildren, Josh, Cassidy, Luke, Nick, Sierra, Dylan, Tara, Cooper, Michael, Alaina, Ethan, Sierra, Alex, Fiona; eight great-grandchildren; his former wife, Eileen Mosteller; two brothers, John Tackley, Clyde Tackley; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, New York with Rev. Jeffrey Galens, officiating. Private burial will be in the Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Roger J.
