Obituary of Linda Eileen Charton
Please share a memory of Linda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Linda (Winters) Charton, passed away on May 7, 2025, knowing she was loved beyond measure. She was 75 years young.
Family was the most important thing to Linda.
She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother to Kristina, Danielle and Jennifer. She lived for her grandchildren, Haley, Jacob, Zachary, and Tanner and loved telling whoever would listen countless stories about them. In Linda's words, she has the best sons-in-law, Joe and Shawn and the best grandson-in-law, Ryan.
Linda was one of eight children and loved her siblings dearly. She has been reunited with Paulette, Gale, Betty, and Kenny. She will live on in the memories of Louise, Fran and Wayne. She loved each one of her nieces and nephews, and there was a lot of love in return.
Linda devoted her years to building a loving relationship with her daycare kids. They meant the world to her.
Linda will be remembered by her daughters as a mother who always put them first and who would do anything to make them happy. Her grandchildren will remember her as the grandmother who was always there and showered them with support and love. Her grandkids were the luckiest of her daycare kids as they got to spend their days with Grandma.
One last time Momma, we love you more...
Linda's daughters and granddaughter want to say a special thank you to the staff of Vestal Park Nursing Center and Vestal Dialysis. The kind and loving care you all gave will be forever appreciated and we are grateful for each of you who came into her life to care for her these past 16 months.
