Lynne A. Mieczkowski, 86, of Owego, New York, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025. Lynne was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Mary Gallup, and sister and brother-in-law Gail and James Auer.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Edward Mieczkowski; five children and their spouses, Frederick Mieczkowski, Timothy (Tracy) Mieczkowski, Joseph (Heather) Mieczkowski, Daniel (Lori) Mieczkowski, Sharon (Kevin) Hand; 10 grandchildren, Charles, Kyle, Hannah, Morgan, Sarah, Griffin, Adam, Owen, Austin and Audra; 2 beloved nephews James (Teresa) Auer and William (Sandy) Auer and extended family and friends.

Lynne retired from IBM following 24 years of service and later served as Clerk Treasurer for the Village of Owego for 17 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 300 Odell Avenue Endicott, NY 13760. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Owego, NY. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercy House of The Southern Tier 212 N. McKinley Ave, Endicott, NY 13760 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, in her name.
