Philip H. Harders, 89, of Candor, New York, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Ideal Senior Living Center, with his family by his side. Phil was predeceased by his son, Philip Harders; grandson, Zack Babcock; great-grandson, Brody O'Dell. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Shirley (Vallone) Harders; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Steve Babcock, Karen and Bill Batterson; four grandchildren, Michael, Shawna, Eric, Lesley; three great-grandchildren, Kian, Nicky, Timmy; two sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce Boda, Judy and Carl Keele; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Phil was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from National Cash Register, Ithaca, NY. He will be remembered as a loving man who enjoyed golfing, cooking, painting and family gatherings. Graveside services with full military honors will be accorded on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at the Tioga Cemetery, Owego, New York with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating.
