Patricia Ann "Pat" Rudin Obituary

A Child of God — A Child of Nature

Patricia "Pat" Ann Rudin, 72, entered peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Born at Wilson Hospital to Theodore and Doris (Webb) Flavin, Pat grew up in Owego and graduated from OFA with the Class of 1970. Pat is survived by the loves of her life; her husband of 53 years, Kim Rudin; son Hans Rudin. Pat is also survived by her sister, Judy (John) Ruegamer; brothers-in-law, Albert "Chip" (Connie) Rudin, Terry Rudin, Alton (Connie) Rudin, Zurich Rudin; sister-in-law, Hulda Rudin; nieces, nephews, lifelong friends: Pat Dennis and Kathy Morely, and other wonderful people in her life. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Flavin. At the age of 16, Pat started on her journey of a life of loving Jesus. This very deep personal relationship with God was evident, admirable, and truly beautiful. As a child of God, she resembled Him in many ways. As a child of nature, she enjoyed all the wonders of her Father's creation. Her wish – like her Father's – is that all would read His Word (The Bible) to learn of Him, and to know and love Him personally. Just say God, I need you … keep talking. The family will receive friends Saturday July 19, 2025, from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. with the funeral services immediately following at 12:00 Noon at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3732 Waverly Road, Owego, NY, with Pastor Jay Geistdorfor and her brother-in-law, Rev. Albert "Chip" Rudin, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia A. Rudin's memory to: Pacific Garden Mission, 1458 S. Canal St, Chicago, IL 60607. Arrangements are under the care of Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.
