Andrew Peter Jaye, Jr., of Owego, NY, passed away on August 18, 2025.
Born to the late Andrew P. Jaye and Eileen B. Jaye, Andrew was the oldest of three children and is survived by his siblings Dennis Jaye and Sharyn Onuschak.
Andrew was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a photographer under General Alexander Haig. During his service, he earned several distinctions, including the Expert Rifleman Medal, 2nd Class Gunner Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Army Occupation Medal (Berlin), and the National Defense Service Medal. His time in service instilled in him a lifelong commitment to helping others, which he carried forward in his community.

He was also a devoted cross-country skier, embracing the beauty and challenge of the sport throughout his life. Beyond his love of the outdoors, Andrew was deeply committed to serving those in need, dedicating much of his time to helping the homeless and less fortunate.
He is survived by his children: Christina (Kevin) Parker of Lebanon, Andrew (Corrie) Jaye III of Nichols, and Mary (Matt) Fox of Connersville. He was a proud grandfather to Melissa, Joseph, Olivia, Laura, Nathanial, Nicholas, Audra, Nathan, Emma, Hannah, and Emily, and a loving great-grandfather to Gunner, Francesca, Raina, and Hudson.
Andrew's legacy is one of kindness, service, and devotion, his country, and his community.
