Aileen M. Wold, 94, of Owego, NY, went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

Aileen was born December 6, 1930, in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Oscar T. and Lillian (Jensen) Aanonsen. She was predeceased by her parents, along with the love of her life, her husband of 66 years, Richard Wold; daughter, Susan Cumm; grandson, Adam Wold; brother, George Aanonsen; sister, Grace Beck.

Aileen is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Karon Wold, Donald and Julie Wold; daughter, Debra Zeggert; son-in-law and his wife, Kevin and Tonya Cumm; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Aileen was deeply devoted to her family. She supported her husband, Dick, through various activities and dedicated her time and strength with raising her children and later their families. Aileen had an avid passion for sewing that found her making clothing and quilts for the many members of her family.

Aileen was a long-time member of the Owego United Methodist Church. She enjoyed helping with various activities including making sleeping bag quilts to be given to missions. Aileen will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 24, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, located at 15 Park Street, Owego, NY. Burial will be held at the Tioga Cemetery, immediately following services.
