Mary Diaz, age 92, of Binghamton NY, entered into rest to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Mercy House of the Southern Tier in Endicott, NY. Born on October 3, 1932, in New York City, NY, Mary was the daughter of the late Sixto and Victoria Marzan. Mary worked for Hallak Dry Cleaners in New York City, NY, and later worked in the cafeteria at Susquehanna Community High School in Susquehanna, PA. Mary attended the Brooklyn Tabernacle Church in Brooklyn, NY, where she sang in the choir for many years, she toured with the choir and recorded many albums with them during that time. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, crafting, cooking, and baking. Mary's life was centered around her family, whom she cherished deeply. She was a devoted mother and is survived by daughter, Miriam and son-in-law Rene Diaz, and two sons and daughters-in-laws, Michael Diaz Jr., husband of Diane (Odnoha) Diaz; John Diaz, husband of Edith (Garay) Diaz. Mary is survived by her grandchildren, Kimberly, Ayla, Joshua, Michael Aaron, Rachel, and Jamie, Jason and J.J. Mary has eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings and her daughter, Deborah (Diaz) Rios. Mary will be remembered for her steadfast love for her Savior, Jesus Christ, her quiet strength, and her servant's heart. She found her greatest joy in being surrounded by her family. Private services will be held at the Estey, Munroe, and Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY.
