Louise M. Barto, 94, of Owego, New York, died in the arms of the Lord on Friday, October 17, 2025. Louise was predeceased by her husband, Robert H. Barto; three brothers, LeRoy Nichols, Harold Nichols, Frank Nichols; sister, Lillian Eastwood; daughter-in-law, Nancy Barto. Surviving are her precious children, Richard and Dorothy "Dottie" Barto, Nancy and Lewis Biller, Denise and Lester Swartz; six grandchildren, Richard Barto, Nanette Viviano, Joy Gooch, Robert Russell, Sabrina Swartz, Jacob Swartz; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Hepp, Florence Eastman and Richard Taylor; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. The family would like to extend a Special Thank You to Louise's care provider's Gabrielle and Joy, and to the nurses and staff at Lourdes Seton 2. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, New York. Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery, Owego, New York.
