Henry A. Esquivel Obituary

Henry A. Esquivel, 100, of Endicott, New York, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, at his residence.


Henry was born in San Antonio, Texas, on February 20, 1925, the son of the late Genaro Esquivel and Trinidad (Aguirre) Esquivel. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as an Aviation Machinist's Mate 3rd Class during World War II. His dedication and service reflected his deep sense of duty and love for his country.


Following his honorable discharge, Henry devoted his career to helping others as a Social Worker for the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare, where he served faithfully for over 27 years until his retirement in 1990. His compassion and commitment to improving the lives of others were hallmarks of both his professional and personal life.


Originally from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Henry made Endicott his home in 2006. He will be remembered for his integrity, humility, and devotion to his family.


Henry was predeceased by his beloved wife and parents. He is survived by his loving children, Michael (Lynne) Esquivel of Endicott, NY, and Shelley Waltz of Endicott, NY; his cherished grandchildren, Danielle Esquivel of Virginia, Jessica Caimol of Virginia, and Jajce Waltz of Keeseville, NY; Great Grandchildren Kaiya Esquivel, Elliott & Oliver Caimol as well as several extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
