Margaret A. "Peggy" Tackley, of Apalachin, NY, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026. Peggy was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Roger Tackley. She is survived by her children, Robert Dorans and Catherine Gutleber, James Dorans, Heather Dorans-Duda, Drew and Jessica Dorans, Lorrie and Daniel Tyler, Dan and Jody Tackley, Ben and Amanda Tackley; 14 grandchildren, Alaina, Ethan, Sierra, Alex, Fiona, Josh, Cassidy, Luke, Nick, Sierra, Dylan, Tara, Cooper, Michael; nine great-grandchildren; brother, James McParland; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY. Burial will follow in the Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret A.
