Marguerite "Peg" Gorman, 96, of Owego, New York, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026. Mrs. Gorman was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Harry and Susan Vincent; along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Eugene "Gene" Gorman. Peg is survived by her four loving children, Richard Gorman, of Owego, NY, Mark (Connie) Gorman, Anchorage, AK, Dianne Gorman, Boonton, NJ, Donna Bestle, Owego, NY; seven grandchildren, Jamie Gorman, Erik (Hanna) Gorman, Josh (Jessica) Bestle, Rebecca (Steve) Cohrs, Gabriella (Jim) Slattery, Calab (Celia) Bestle, Mariah (Isaac) Ward; 16 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joyce Gorman, of Oradell, NJ; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousin. Peg was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Church. A celebration of her life will be held later this year. She will be laid to rest in the Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, New York.
