Delores "Dee/Dorie" Andrews, 82, of Spencer, New York, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026. Dee was born in Ithaca, New York to the late Hugh and Ida (Quick) Mapes. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her two stepsons, Ronald Andrews, Richard Andrews; sister, Gertie Hardisky; stepsisters, Diane Quick, Almeda Schriber, Carrie Osborne. Dee is survived by her husband of 46 years, John "Jack" Andrews; three children, Raymond (Suzanne) Sears, Jr, Ricky Sears, Debby and Robert Hover, Jr; five step-children, Cheryl Gorsline, David Andrews, Michael (Lorie) Andrews, Edward (Kristy) Andrews, Jerry (Rikki) Andrews; six grandchildren, Robert Hover, Joshua (Alexis) Hover, Christopher (Morgan) Hover, Tara (Andy) Sears Robinson, Jordan Sears (Angela Everhart), Breanna Sears; 21 step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; four stepbrothers, Donnie Quick, David Quick, Gary Mapes, Harry Mapes; close friends, Teresa Burgess, Dan Canavan, Pat Grover, Mary Kenyon; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Dee worked as a waitress at the Manos Restaurant, Ithaca, New York. The family will receive friends Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, New York.
