Eugene "Gene" Crispell, 87, of Brooktondale, New York, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Mr. Crispell was born in Cortland, New York to the late Bertrum and Mildred Crispell. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers, Herbert Crispell, Ralph Crispell; sister, Maxine; his wife, Gloria Crispell; son, Daniel Crispell. Gene is survived by his wife, JoAnne Crispell; four children and their spouses, Steven and Kelly Crispell, Mark Eugene and Maria Crispell, Andrea and Duane Scott, Jacqueline and Randal Enslow; daughter-in-law, Christine Crispell; step-children, Brenda and Alan West, Lisa and Dan Rembold, Jeff and Susan Gray; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene McMillin; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Gene was a dairy farmer, owning and operating the Abundant Life Farm, in Brooktondale, NY and later worked as an equipment Operator for Cargill Salt Mines. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 10:00am – 10:45am, with funeral services immediately following at 11:00am at Scottland Yard Farms, 262 Harford Road, Brooktondale, New York. Burial will be on the family Farm. The family is being assisted by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.
