Emily G. Outman, 18, of Owego, New York, unexpectedly passed away Monday, April 20, 2026. Emily was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Stephen Erickson; paternal grandfather James L. Outman, Jr. She is survived by her loving parents, James and Julie (Erickson) Outman; her two brothers Matthew and David Outman; her maternal grandmother, Jane Erickson, paternal grandmother, Carol Outman, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at the Center for Discovery Children's Specialty Hospital and to Emily's private duty nurses, who cared for her with unwavering faithfulness and compassion. Emily also cherished several special friendships over the years, which enriched her life and brought joy and laughter to many.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 27, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 AM at South Apalachin Baptist Church, 4416 Pennsylvania Avenue, Apalachin, NY. Pastor Cory Adams is officiating. Private family internment to follow. The family is being assisted by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.
