Edward J. "Ed" McMullen, 87, of Owego, NY, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026. Ed was born in Endicott, NY to the late Richard and Blanche (Eldred) McMullen. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Jeannette McMullen; two brothers, Michael McMullen, David McMullen; three sisters, Shirly Woodruff, Jean Malarkey, Judy Fussell. Ed is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and James Lee, Terri and Robert Korba; son, Edward McMullen, Jr. and Erinn; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Ed was a veteran o the U.S. Navy. He drove truck for Roadway Express of Binghamton, NY and was the proud recipient of the Million Miles Award given for driving truck a million miles without an accident. Ed enjoyed spending time with Jeannette and their family at their vacation home in Millens Bay, NY. He was a gifted woodworker. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY with Pastor Paul Campbell, officiating. Burial will follow in the Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
