Kenneth "Ken" George Marble, 53, of Owego, NY, unexpectedly passed away on May 7, 2026, at his home. Ken was born in Penn Yan, NY on April 13, 1973, to George Paul Marble and Mary Lou (Campbell) Marble. Ken is survived by his wife of 25 years, Stephanie Marble; his two sons, Nathan Marble, Emmett Marble, two brothers, Gary Marble, Jerry Marble; two nephews, Colby Marble, Connor Marble, two nieces, Allison Schanbacher, Alexis Marble. Ken was predeceased by his parents, George P. and Mary Lou Marble. He graduated from Penn Yan Academy in 1991, earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1997, and a Master of Business Administration from Binghamton University in 2010. In 2017, he began pursuing his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Binghamton University. Ken worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin from 1998 to 2013, where he contributed to the development of the F-35 fifth-generation fighter aircraft. In 2020, he joined SUNY Broome Community College as Associate Professor and Co-Chair of the Engineering Technologies Department, where he was loved and appreciated by students and faculty alike. He chaired the department from 2024 until the time of his death. His passions included aerospace engineering, alternative energy, building computers, and RVing. Ken was a devoted husband, a loving and committed father, and a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all of their family, friends and coworkers for their continued support though this difficult time. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. with funeral services immediately following at 4:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY.
