Virginia Grace "Ginny" Millage Obituary
Virginia Grace (Moshier) Millage, 100, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026. Ginny was born at home to Allie (Hover) and George Moshier on November 27, 1925. She was predeceased by her husband, Clinton Millage; her son, Vaughn Millage; her daughter, Vicki (Millage) Brouty, along with her parents and siblings.
Ginny is survived by her son, Rodney Millage, four grandchildren: Tina (& Lynn) Willoughby, Kevin (& Christina) Millage, Stephen Brouty & A. Brouty as well as many nieces & nephews.
Ginny raised her family on Spencer Ave in Candor beginning in 1956. She enjoyed watching the world pass by from her chair on the front porch including hosting family to watch Candor's 4th of July parade from her front yard. Although she didn't travel far from Candor, Ginny was intellectually curious, seeking more information about topics in the encyclopedia. She loved to play cards and Scrabble. She was an avid watcher of Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, WWE Wrestling and NY Yankees games. Ginny often had a crossword puzzle or word search book by her side.
In her final years as a resident at Ideal Nursing Home, Ginny enjoyed chatting with her friends and participating in resident activities, especially ladder ball, bingo, trivia and the visiting musicians. Ginny was competitive, proudly sharing her medals and prizes from games at Ideal.
Keeping with Ginny's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, N.Y.
