Carol J. Foster, 77, of Candor, New York, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026, in North Fort Myers, Fl. Carol was born in Waverly, New York to the late Frederick W. and Elvira R. (Consalvi) Jantz. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, William "Stub" Rutledge; her husband of 44 years, Leland "Lee" Foster. Carol is survived by her five children, Frederick Deubler, Robert Deubler, Tammy (Doug) Foster, Patricia (Bob) Foster, Suzanna (Randy) Foster; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; extended family and friends. Carol was a licensed cosmetologist and a former secretary at Cornell University. She was very community minded and a member of the Candor Legion Auxiliary Unit 907. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main Street, Candor, New York with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY. The family will receive friends Monday, July 6th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
