Obituary of Lorraine Masters
Lorraine A. Masters, 84, of Owego passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Michael Zawko, Edna and John Szlucha; son, Hal Marquis Lightner; daughter, Edna Michelle Swartz. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gar and Beth Lightner; two daughters and son-in-law, Amy Reynolds, Melissa and John Ricklefs; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, John “Terry” and Diane Szlucha, Thomas and Cheryl Szlucha; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Burton Avery; several nieces and nephews. Lorraine retired from IBM with over 25 years of service. In honoring Lorraine’s wishes a celebration of life will be held sometime in the Spring. Memorial contributions may be made in Lorraine Masters’s memory to the Tioga County Rural Ministry, 143 North Avenue, Owego, NY 13827 or the Tioga County Historical Society, 110 Front St., Owego, NY 13827.
