Obituary of The Rev. Frank A. Amalfitano
The Rev. Frank A. Amalfitano, 75, of Owego, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2018 at home. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marlena; two sons, Anthony and Dominic Amalfitano; grandson, Anthony Amalfitano, Jr.; sister, Elaine Sidel; three nieces, Beth Sidel, Lisa Benoit, Jenna Frongillo; nephew, Anthony Frongillo. Frank served as a Presbyterian Minister for over 30 years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Union Church, Owego, NY with the Rev. Lisa Heckman, officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in Rev. Frank A. Amalfitano’s memory to the Campville Volunteer Fire Co., 6153 State Route 17C, Endicott, NY 13760 or the Tioga County Rural Ministry, 143 North Avenue, Owego, NY 13827.
