Obituary of Virginia Wright

Virginia “Ginny” Wright, 60, of Candor passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018.  Ginny was predeceased by her parents, Cecil and Marian Haggerty; half-brother, Larry Kilmer; in-laws, Homer and Iva Wright.  She is survived by her husband of 42 years, James L. Wright, Sr.; two daughters, Nikki Becken (Thom Lynch), Jamie DalCero (Tim); son, James L. Wright, Jr. (Ashley); second mother to so many amazing people; grandchildren,  Morgan Becken (Chris Hover), Marisa Becken (Donna Davis), Kelsie Becken (JR Rossen), Erin Wright, Jonathan Wright; great-grandchildren, Macey and Brody Hover; sister in life and spirit, Susan Hogben (Ben); sisters-in-law, Mary Hallett (David), Carol Kellogg, Georgia Sawyer, Nancy Wright (Don), Carol Kilmer; brother-in-law, Howard Wright (Donna Annis); special nephew, Shannon Parker (Sharon); several nieces, nephews, cousins. Ginny took pride in making her number one job her family, her other professions included driving bus and working in the cafeteria for the Candor School District and working for over 27 years at Cornell University.  She was a former member of the Candor EMS-AEMT.  She will always be remembered as a super wife, mother, sister, friend, boss, human extra ordinaire, for her special smile and for the love of her animals.  She loved like no other and was loved like no other.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor with the Rev. Ben Hogben, officiating.  Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery.  Fellowship will follow the funeral service on Saturday at the Candor American Legion, 90 Spencer Road, Candor.The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Virginia Wright’s memory to Stray Haven Humane Society, 194 Shepherd Road, Waverly, NY  14892 or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave, Suite 200, Manhatten Beach, CA  90266.  Condolences may be made to Ginny’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
