Obituary of Jody Ann McDowell

Jody Ann (Johnstone) McDowell was born on June 26th, 1961 to Wayne A. and Fay L. Johnstone of Owego, NY.  She left us on January 7th, 2018 to join her Lord and Savior far too soon.  She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Charles D. McDowell; daughter and son-in-law, Abby M. and Jason Fitch; son and and daughter-in-law, Ryan C. and Sarah McDowell; three grandsons, Zachary, Jacob, Logan; her mother, Fay Johnstone; three sisters, Tracie Johnstone and Faye Welch, Leslie and Rick Patten, Sharyl Johnstone and Tom Spicer; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws with whom she loved dearly.  Jody spent her final days giving all of her love and attention to her three grandsons.  She was an amazing wife, mom, grandmother and aunt.  In lieu of flowers, Jody’s wishes were to have a celebration of her life with family and friends to be held on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Friendship Masonic Lodge #153, 940 Montrose Turnpike, Owego, NY.  The family asks that you bring stories, smiles and lots of hugs.  Condolences may be made to Jody’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
