Obituary of Anna M. Bontzolakes

Anna M. Bontzolakes, 94, of Barton, New York passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Bontzolakes was predeceased by her husband, Nickas Bontzolakes; mother, Enedina O. Maldonado; brother, Ariel Maldonado; two sons-in-law, Robert McDaniel, Nestor Monllor;  numerous brothers and sisters.  She is survived by eight children, Manoussos (Josefina) Bontzolakes, Enedina Monllor, Basil Bontzolakes, Ellenie Bontzolakes, Hercules Bontzolakes,  Phillip (Mary) Bontzolakes, Irene McDaniel, Ellie Rezek; 19 grandchildren, Margarita, Manoussos, Christian, David, Zaida, Carmen, Jacqueline, Katherine, Evan, Melissa, Hercules, Alexander, Nickolas, Jason, Brian, Celina, Karen McDaniel-Kopicki, Serenna McCloud, Forrest McCloud; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eleida Burgos, Lucy Sanchez; two brothers, George Sanchez, Ivan Sanchez; aunt, Nora Hidalgo; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday,  February 22, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 17 Main St., Candor, NY.   Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor.  The family will receive friends Wednesday Evening from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY.
