Obituary of Mamie Marie Barber

Mamie M. Barber, 96, of Waverly, New York passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at home.  Mrs. Barber was born in Jamestown, NY to the late Joseph and Lucille Arcadipane.  Along with her parents, Mamie was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Ross Barber; son, Steven Barber; brother, Samuel Brady; two sisters, Grace Calabrese and Frances Sabino.  Mrs. Barber is survived by her son, Joseph Barber, of Waverly, NY; grandson, Justin Barber, of Ellicottville, NY; brother, Angelo Brady, of Jamestown, NY; several nieces and nephews.  Mamie loved music, knitting, collecting antiques, cooking, good food and her Victorian home.  A Requiem Eucharistic Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 703 S. Main Street, Athens, PA with The Rev. Benjamin Lee Lentz, officiating.  The family is being assisted by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.
